Preparing a home for sale is more than knowing what improvements should be done, and how, and by whom, although that is extremely important. It also involves proper disclosure.
While a seller is not obligated to make repairs, unless agreed upon, they must disclose known material facts and defects to the buyer. In other words, there’s no buyer beware!
